4-Ingredient Flatbreads 🥙

Updated: Apr 3, 2020

SO WHO KNEW making flatbreads were so easy? Inspired by our pal Simon who made flatbreads ages ago using literally just flour and yoghurt, we gave it a try yesterday and we think you should try it out too 😚Simple, easy and hopefully you have all the ingredients at home! #SezPKuarantined verified 😇

Serves: 8 flatbreads

Difficulty: Level 2

Wow factor: ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ingredients

  • 200gr yoghurt (we used full-fat greek yoghurt)

  • 350gr self-raising flour, extra for dusting

  • 1tsp baking powder

  • 1tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, tip flour, yoghurt, baking powder and salt. Mix well using a spoon and once it gets too hard, move the dough to a floured surface to bring it together.

  2. If it is still too sticky, add more flour until you can knead it without the dough sticking to your hands and the surface too much.

  3. Knead for 1-2 minutes, then using a dough scraper or a bread knife, divide the dough into 2. Then keep dividing until you have 8 equal pieces.

  4. Roll out each piece using a rolling pin into desired shape (round or oval) and dust a tiny bit of flour on both sides.

  5. Heat your griller / grill pan and when it's hot, grill the rolled out dough for about 3-5 mins on each side until it has puffed up.

  6. Serve warm with your favourite DIPS or use it as a wrap with grilled meats!

You can also add cumin, cumin seeds, ground coriander, smoked paprika, or black pepper to make it fancy! Feel free to be creative with this. 👩🏻‍🍳👨🏽‍🍳
